"Don't miss Sichuan House if you fancy a nice Chinese restaurant with loads of flavours. Food doesn't feel heavy or oily which is unusual for some Chinese restaurants. Plenty of space, even try it if you have kids or babies, they do accommodate you. They have wine, beer and soft drinks. Price wise it's slightly over the cheap and cheerful but quality won't deceive you. A must in the area!"

"Best Chinese food in Angel/ Upper street hands down. Their restaurant has a good atmosphere but I tend to order. One time I got my meal to go at the restaurant but it was definitely too disruptive to the staff. But they did a great job."

"Stumbled upon Sichuan House on Buymeego and it’s honestly a hidden gem in North London! We got the 2-person set for just £30 — that’s two mains, a veggie dish, rice, drinks, and service included. The portions were huge and everything tasted authentic, especially the water-boiled beef and dry-fried green beans. Such great value for money — hard to believe this is London! Will definitely come back."

"We love the food at Sichuan House, very authentic, fresh and most importantly tasty! I’ve tried at least 15 different dishes there and they’ve all been amazing, no complaints at all. The service is exceptionally good for a Chinese restaurant, and the waiters are polite and accommodating especially as we have a toddler that can be fussy with his food. The private karaoke room downstairs is spacious and ideal for parties or gatherings with friends, families and colleagues. We’ve been to Sichuan House a few times and all our guests have thoroughly enjoyed their meal and plan to return. If you are after fresh authentic and reasonably priced Sichuan & Chinese food with top service, this is the place to visit for a lovely meal! I’m so happy that we don’t have to venture all the way to Chinatown for our fix of Chinese food."

"Food was sooo yummy and super reasonably priced. We got three dishes to share between two of us for lunch and it came up to around £20. The crispy Duck was lovely and pork xiao long bao were delicious! Staff were really helpful and nice."

"Price was 10-15% cheaper than Chinatown. I felt taste was better here. All dumplings were hot and delicious. Not as spicy as I expected but overall good experience"

"If you’re looking for a solid hot pot with no frills and at a reasonable price, Sichuan House meets the demand. For £25 per person, you can have all-you-can-eat hotpot! There is quite a nice variety of ingredients to choose from, including crab sticks, fish, beef slices, pork slices, mussels, tofu, squid, veggies, mushrooms and more. Service is slow and inattentive but if you focus on the food, you’ll leave satisfied!"

"The right place for s proper hot pot experience! It is available for 25£ per person, with 10 ingredients of your choice. Everything is freshly prepared and delicious. The only small minus was a waiting time, we were the first ones in and it took 1h till we got served our food. Still, highly recomended."
